The leadership of the Henties Bay Municipality, led by the acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Ignasia Neis, met with the leadership of the National Housing Enterprise (NHE) today, 02 February 2024, to discuss potential areas of collaboration on land and housing development related matters. The meeting established that the housing demand at Henties Bay is high, and that NHE will consider launching a housing project at the coastal town in the foreseeable future.

The delegation also used the opportunity to invite NHE to the envisioned Henties Bay Land Investment Conference scheduled on 4 – 6 April 2024.

The acting CEO was accompanied by the Strategic Executive for Finance and IT, Mr. Elifas Amunyela and the Strategic Executive for Infrastructure and Technical services, Mr. Dismon Kambatuamasa.
